Neil M. Schloss is vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Mobility, Ford Motor Company, effective August 1, 2017. In this role, he is responsible for the financial operations of Ford Smart Mobility LLC, a subsidiary formed to design, build, grow and invest in mobility services, IT and Global Data Insight & Analytics. He reports to Marcy Klevorn, executive vice president and president, Mobility.
Previously, Schloss was treasurer and elected a corporate officer in March 2007. He had overall responsibility for the company’s treasury operations. In addition to his role as treasurer, he was appointed CFO to Ford Smart Mobility LLC in August 2016.
Schloss joined Ford Motor Company in 1982 in the Controller’s Office at Ford Aerospace where he held a variety of finance positions before transferring to Ford in 1990. In 1991, he joined the Treasurer’s Office and held numerous positions in funding, risk management, international financing, banking and trading. 
In 1998, he was named assistant treasurer, Ford Credit, responsible for debt issuance, capital planning, and affiliate financing. He maintained that position until December 1999 when he was named director, Financial Strategy, Treasurer’s office, Ford Motor Company. In December 2002, he assumed the role of director, Global Risk Management, Treasurer’s office. He served as assistant treasurer, Ford Motor Company, from March 2003 to March 2007.
Prior to joining Ford, Mr. Schloss, born in 1959, earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from San Diego State University and a Masters of Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
He is on the board of Kids Kicking Cancer, a global organization that uses martial arts as a therapy to lower the pain of very sick children.
