1965 Timeless Kustoms Vicious Mustang Exterior

Most of the time, we are firm believers in the idea that classics are classics for a reason and they do not need to be redone. And a part of that is because there is too much risk involved in a redux of something that was, for all intents and purposes, perfect the first time. That being said, sometimes people take those extremely big risks and manage to produce something that pays homage to the original, but still manages to improve upon it. Case in point: the Vicious ’65 Ford Mustang built by Timeless Kustoms.

Constructed to be the “ultimate road race Mustang,” this badass street vehicle features a coupe-turned-fastback rebuilt shell aboard a racing chassis, together encompassing some truly breathtaking machinery. The V8 engine was taken from a new GT350 and is fitted with twin turbochargers as well as a single supercharger, resulting in an output of 1,000 horsepower. It also features carbon-ceramic disc brakes, independent front and rear suspension, and a paddle-shift system. This one-of-a-kind dream machine was unveiled in Las Vegas at this year’s SEMA show.
