Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1970 Dodge Challenger. This is a beautifully restored and kept vehicle with a well-tuned 340, pistol grip 4 speed, and EB6 Blue!
Most Mopar hype around muscle from the 60s and 70s surrounds the 440 V8s. While we all love the 440, there is something extremely underestimated about a well built 340. They had large intake and exhaust ports, dual timing chain to improve top end RPM, and many many other goodies that make this a high-revving mean machine. The lighter block also means better cornering. The owner documented numbers matching drive train is in fantastic condition. For modern Sunday cruising this is the ultimate muscles car. Less cold natured than a 440, but plenty of pep to give you some right pedal fun. Out back are a set of 3.55:1 gears with a posi-traction rear end. TheEB6 blue exterior shows nicely, and the white vinyl interior is in fantastic condition. The black vinyl roof is also in great shape. Look around this car and the paint is of great quality, and the metal all appears to be in good shape. Look no further for a fun, clean, well-restored muscle car.
