How to Dodge the Aging Bullet With Glutathione

Why would anyone need to include Glutathione from Max GXL into their daily routine?

Well, for starters it is known to be your best defense against aging, cellular damage and disease according to Dr. Robert Keller, director of Medicine and Research Institute of Advanced Medicine. Truly, would you prefer to feel 10 years younger, experience more natural energy, enjoy a sharper state of mind and mental clarity as well reduce any diffuse joint and organ inflammation?

There are 4 primary functions of Glutathione that precipitate the anti-aging process.

1. Glutathione is responsible for protein movement inside and outside the cells.

2. Phase II liver detoxification is the secondary job of glutathione immediately following the livers first phase detoxification. The liver's first phase detoxification breaks down the chemicals we encounter daily.

3. Glutathione is extremely effective in activating the body's natural immune system by stimulating the Delta forces which are our body's first line of defense to threatening organic matter with in the body.

4. The largest purpose for glutathione to act as the master antioxidant!

Dr. Keller posed the question that if uric acid (the main culprit in gout symptoms) is the last line of defense in a critical situation, what is the first line of defense? The answer is Glutathione!

Clinically speaking, I will tell you about a case or two that perfectly demonstrates the immediate power and effectiveness of Max / GXL's glutathione.

There is a gentleman who has quite a few challenges with his feet which have made his feet the weakest link in his system. He is well read on the benefits of eating vegetables and fruit and balancing his intake of various foods. This particular time, his feet were really inflamed, swollen and painful. During my consultation we discussed what he had been eating for the last day or so. He stated, "Well, dinner was a hot dog, breakfast was a -long pause- hot dog, and dinner before was pizza! Is it any wonder the feet (his bodies weakest link) are miserable?

Another case benefiting from Glutathione is about a woman whom I have treated for several years appointed for a nutritional consultation. Within five minutes of talking about what symptoms she was experiencing, I became fully aware of huge shifts in her mannerisms. It was then I realized that she was actually connecting her thoughts into a sensible and easy to follow conversation! She was also much calmer and I could understand her communication! It was really amazing.

Let's briefly explore in more detail what glutathione is and how is works. In the last several years, there is increased talk about the necessity of anti-oxidants. But do most people realize exactly why we would need to take anti-oxidants, and what do anti-oxidants do for our health? The inner matrix of our cells and all the activity that takes place within the cell is where the body's overall metabolism begins.
The by product of cellular activity (or waste) is oxygen production -this is called oxidation. Well, let's see, we need oxygen to live, so how can the oxidation process be bad for us?

The best explanation I have heard regarding this is from the late Dr. Robert Kellar who created the key components allow our bodies to have increased levels of glutathione. Dr. Keller's analogy was that of the metal iron and oxygen. When iron is left exposed to the air (oxygen) is will rust over time and deteriorate. The same is true for our cells. If the oxidative waste from cell activity is unable to be shuttled out of the cell, then our cells will die a premature death.

To say that the more active cells that a person possesses is directly proportional to youth and longevity is a physiological fact. To simplify, the more horsepower there is available to push / pull the person or object, the stronger the person or object will be! Doesn't this make sense?

Glutathione is a peptide that we all possess inherently, yet each of us because of our genetic make up will have varying levels of glutathione or none at all! Glutathione is the master anit-oxidant (cell cleaner upper of oxidative waste) which attaches to free oxygen, aka the free radicals, and metals such as mercury and carries them out of the cell via normal metabolism thus cleaning up the waste from the body which would ultimately result in a slow degenerating body.

How exactly does this slow degenerating body affect each and every one of us every minute of every day? Recall the example of the iron exposed to oxygen? In real life terms that the baby boomers (the largest faction of population today) are experiencing, the labels are congestive heart failure where the cells in the heart aren't "cleaning" themselves out rapidly enough. Thus there is excessive cell die off consequently the ability for the heart to pump blood throughout the body becomes compromised. Less blood is available to flow through all of the organs in the body and ultimately it is the blood supply to each organ and each cell that allows function!

Next is emphysema. What is emphysema but inflammation causing excessive mucous production in the lung? Clogged pipes! Glutathione and its synergistic components combat inflammation as well as increase cellular clean up, cellular function as well as cellular reproduction!

When the liver cells become heavy in free radicals (oxidation), cirrhosis results. When the pancreas becomes heavy in free radicals, type II diabetes ensues. When the vascular walls are not supplied with enough anit-oxidants, atherosclerosis results. When the intestinal tract looses its ability to clean itself up and regenerate fast enough to handle what bad habits we subject it to, irritable bowel results. When our brains are deficient in glutathione and heavy metals are the free radicals in the cells of the brain, Alzheimer's results in the elderly – while autism is the result in the young!

Can you now understand how this is a slow steady road to chronic and painful dis-ease?

Briefly, the free radicals we breath and ingest are responsible for the exponential increase in cellular oxidation. Not to mention between dental fillings of old, some braces, drinking out of aluminum cans, vaccines and the new and improved genetically engineered food we consume, how do we truly know what is going into our bodies! There can also be an extensive discussion about fast food, sugar and alcohol! Where do these habits stack up in your daily habits? Definitely something worth pondering, wouldn't you say?

In private practice for the last 25 years, people ask what is the best supplement to take regularly? Always I have answered Vitamin C. That is until now. Vitamin C helps maintain connective tissue strength (ligaments, tendons and sub dermal collagen), aides in healthy mucous membranes (which is pretty much everything from stem to stern on the inside), and is a major support for our adrenal glands (the gland that gives us our adrenaline push and energy as well as hormone production).

Glutathione offers a protective relationship with vitamin C. It acts as a protector so that vitamin C is able to do its job! How amazing is the human body-truly the most intricate functioning thing on earth! Now I have two supplements that I will take even when I am rebelling from taking one more pill!

A few of the noticeable effects you will notice from taking a glutathione complex are:
