The 2021 Shanghai Auto Show is the most important show in China, and despite the current travel restrictions, Lamborghini managed to put together a very impressive stand, with the Lamborghini Huracan STO taking the center position, accompanied by the ultra-impressive Essenza SCV12 and the Urus Super SUV, one of the Huracan Fluo Capsule special editions was parked inside the VIP area.
We might have seen these cars before, but for the Chinese market three out of these four cars are a first, the Lamborghini Huracan STO made its China debut as a street-legal race car, heavily influenced by the Super Trofeo and GT3 racers, the STO is an incarnation of Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s motorsports prowess and heritage.

We’ve seen some test and pre-production cars being captured on the road, and some come in amazing color combinations, a customer can configure his (or her) very own Huracan STO from a combination of almost 350 different colors offered by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam studio, combine this with all the different options for the interior, and it’s unlikely two of these V10 STO will be identical once clients receive their unit.
Usually, the Lamborghini stand at an auto show comes with a VIP section or a local Ad Personam studio, and for the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, they opted to showcase their Lamborghini Huracan EVO Fluo Capsule, another premiere for the Asia Pacific area.
This specific Huracán EVO was shown in matt Verde Shock (green) color that enhances its inimitable lines and shape, additionally, four other exterior and interior configurations are possible: Arancio Livrea (orange), Celeste Fedra (blue), Arancio Dac (orange), and Giallo Clarus (yellow), combined with matt black details and colored accent lines.
But the next car is a world premiere, the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 was shown to the public for the first time at the 2021 Shanghai Motor Show, before we’ve only seen the online presentation, but now this limited production model made a public appearance, with only 40 units made, this track-only hypercar was shown in the launch livery combining Verde Selvans, Grigio Linx, Nero Aldebaran Gloss, and Arancio California.

As the first GT car developed to respect FIA prototype safety standards, the Essenza SCV12 features an exceptional power-to-weight ratio of 1.66 hp/kg made possible by its new-generation carbon fiber monocoque chassis without an internal roll cage.
The Essenza SCV12 was born for the track and to race, with a mission of bringing the purest track experience that Lamborghini can offer. Every Essenza SCV12 customer will become a member of an exclusive club with access to special programs to drive their hypercar on the most prestigious circuits in the world. In addition to premium track facilities, the program also gives access to exclusive training programs similar to those followed by the official racers.
