The Ford Bronco Sport Earns Yet Another Accolade

In addition to hitting the top score on all six crash tests, a vehicle must have an available front crash prevention system that scores advanced or superior in the IIHS vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian evaluations. Every Bronco Sport trim includes Ford Co-Pilot 360 with pre-collision assist and automatic emergency braking. The IIHS also requires a vehicle to score good or acceptable on headlights in every trim level, and the Bronc Sport passed.

“As the Bronco of small SUVs, Bronco Sport was engineered to help our customers get out and adventure, both on- and off-road, and to do so safely,” said Hau Thai-Tang, Ford’s chief product platform and operations officer. “This IIHS Top Safety Pick+ rating validates that commitment.”
