Sadly the official factory museum at Sant’Agata was forced to close its doors months ago due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, but on May 3, 2021, we will finally be able to admire the most amazing cars built over the last 60 years or so once again.

And there is also a new exhibition shown, called “Future is our legacy”, a recall to the thing that has set Automobili Lamborghini SpA apart since 1963, with cars that are ahead of the competition while still celebrating the past, and this Future is our legacy exhibition isn’t the only important event at this time.

Not only is the legendary Lamborghini Countach is celebrating her 50th anniversary this year, but the actual museum, now called MUDETEC, is celebrating the 20th anniversary too since it was inaugurated in 2001.

Entering the MUDETEC through the new tunnel will make an everlasting impression already with the amazing sound of the Lamborghini V12 engine while a video is shown with the masterpieces built at Sant’Agata since the Sixties, the lower floor shows models up to the Diablo from the Nineties … while at this time you can also admire the Vision GT Concept and the amazing Essenza SCV12.

Going up the stairs to the second floor will emerge you into the world of the Countach for her 50th anniversary, with the famous, green production prototype, and the silver metallic 25th Anniversary … the start of the Countach era, together with the last one ever made.

This floor showcases the models from the 21st century from Lamborghini, but it also boasts some of the most amazing limited edition models ever, like the Reventon, the Sesto Elemento, the Veneno, the Centenario that celebrated the 100th anniversary of the late Ferruccio Lamborghini, right up to the current flagship, and Lamborghini’s first hybrid model, the Sian.

MUDETEC also offers a lot of interactive possibilities, you can have a photo taken next to a virtual Lamborghini model of your dreams, or take a ride in the driving simulator, with a new feature called the “Social pass-by card”.

Do note the MUDETEC is only open upon reservation, you need to make an appointment to be able to visit between the hours of 9:30 to 18:00, and at this time a maximum of 12 people per 30 minutes is allowed, wearing a mask being mandatory.
