Ford Maverick Will Have A Core Truck Feature

That said, it appears likely the Blue Oval will initially only sell the Maverick in a crew cab configuration, thus allowing for more rear passenger space. A single crew cab body style may not even be in the pipeline. The Maverick’s bed size is also a mystery, though we hear it’ll be relatively small compared to the Ranger’s. Also, the Maverick could be at least two feet shorter in length than the midsize Ranger.

We’ll hopefully be learning more about the Maverick in the coming months, assuming its 2022 model year target remains on schedule. Pricing should begin at just below the $20,000 mark and production will take place at the same Mexico production facility that’s already churning out the new Bronco Sport.
