But let’s not forget about a certain feature on the F-150 Hybrid, aka the Power Boost: the Pro Power Onboard system, which can serve as a power generator.
Normally, it’ll provide extra juice when camping, tailgating, and for power tools when out on the job. When a severe winter storm slammed Texas last winter and left millions without power, the F-150 Hybrid helped save the day by providing electricity to some private homes. Ford even asked area dealerships to temporarily donate unsold F-150 Hybrids for additional assistance. Pro Power Onboard tech more than proved its worth.
