Ringbrothers Introduce Stunning 1964 Mustang Restomod With Coyote V8

The grille is set back two inches to feed air to the Ford Performance 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine. The Ringbrothers added custom-built headers and a Flowmaster exhaust system. Output figures have not been disclosed but we can tell you that the power is sent to the rear axle via Ford’s 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission.

For additional grip, Cage rides on a set of 18-inch EVOD Industries wheels that mirror the styling of the original Mustang’s Rally design, shod with sticky Continental rubber.

The car has an independent rear suspension setup and Penske Racing Shocks RS Edition performance coilovers front and rear. It comes with a set of powerful Baer Brakes to reign it all back in.

“Every piece of this car has been touched and updated with the original design cues in mind, down to the iconic Mustang taillight bezels, gas cap, and running horse emblems,” added Ringbrothers co-founder Jim Ring.
