Toyota Introduces the Special Edition Matrix M-Theory Package

Toyota Motor Sales USA had already announced the manufacturer's proposed retail prices (MSRP) for the new 2007 Matrix, which will arrive at dealerships early this August.

Also arriving in August is the new 2007 special edition Matrix M-Theory package. The M-Theory features several sporty exterior enhancements for the Corolla Matrix including the unique Speedway Blue paint option, a rear-deck lid spoiler, a large chrome exhaust tip and M-Theory badges for distinction. The M-theory is also equipped with high quality Toyota Matrix performance parts, which include 17-inch Caldina alloy wheels with P215 / 50R17 tires, logo floor mats, four-wheel disc brakes, and an individually numbered limited edition plaque. Effective vehicle handling for the M-Theory package was impressively enhanced by the sport-tuned suspension along with the sport strut tower brace.

The production of special edition Matrix M-Theory is only limited for about 2,500 units. The Matrix M-Theory special edition package will have a manufacturer's recommended retail price (MSRP) of $ 1,500. Moreover, the 2007 Matrix is ​​available in two model grades – the standard Matrix and the Matrix XR.

Both standard Matrix and Matrix XR are equipped with quality exterior and interior features that include integrated fog lamps, an aerodynamic multi-reflector halogen headlamps, fabric seat and fabric door trims, power door locks, remote keyless entry system, and 3-spoke sport steering wheel. Like all Toyota models, Matrix model grades are also equipped with advanced safety features such as airbags, safety belts, brake and tail lamp bulb failure warning lights, anti-lock braking systems (ABS), child restraint system (CRS), and tire pressure monitor.

The manufacturer's suggested retail prices for Matrix models remain unchanged. The base MSRP for the Matrix starts at $ 15,260 for the Matrix Standard with a five-speed manual transmission and $ 16,060 for the automatic transmission. The Matrix XR base MSRP is $ 16,740 for the manual and $ 17,570 for the XR with four-speed automatic transmission. Other Matrix model grades like the Matrix all-wheel-drive and the Matrix XRS have been discontinued for 2007.
