Finally, a Challenger R/T Scat Pack attempts to steal the Corvette’s thunder. In terms of power, these two cars are more evenly matched: the Scat Pack has five less ponies and five more lb-ft of torque than the Corvette.
Its extra torque allows it to pull ahead, but it’s carrying a lot more weight. Consequentially, it doesn’t take long for the Corvette to catch up and leave it for dust, securing another victory with a quarter-mile time of 11.81 seconds compared to the Scat Pack’s time of 12.26 seconds.
