For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a well cared for low mile 1993 Ford Mustang 5.0. This Electric Red LX hatchback is showing an original 51,147 miles. It’s not too often we come across a low mileage example like this or an LX with leather power seats and a 5 speed. Modifications are mostly limited to suspension and exhaust. The exhaust consists of tubular headers and a pair of Flow Master mufflers for that great muscle car rumble. Suspension mods include caster and camber plates for the front, KYB shocks in the rear with a full length Panhard bar and welded in sub frame connectors. The menacing wheel and tire combo includes 275/35ZR18s up front and 295/35ZR18s out back. Both are BF Goodrich G Force high performance rubber mounted on aluminum 18 inch black five star wheels with polished lips and a bit of an offset for the rears for the extra wide rubber. Lurking behind the front wheels is a pair of drilled rotors to help dissipate heat. These specs give the idea that the car was setup more for corner carving than straight line drag racing. That’s a lot of fun, especially with a five speed transmission. Inside you’ll find gray leather power seats in great condition, cold blowing A/C and a booming aftermarket stereo and CD with a pair of subwoofers and an amplifier in the trunk. This was the last year for the Fox body Mustang and prices are on the rise. Now is the time and this is the car!
