The new Toyota Tundra released in the year 2007 is available in three body styles – the 4-door Quad cab, 2-door Regular cab and the 4-door Crew cab. The vehicle is offered in 3 types of engines, namely the 4.0 liter 1GR-FE V6 VVT engine that produces 236 horse power, 5.7 liter 3UR-FE V8 Dual VVT that produces 381 horse power and the 4.7 liter 2UZ-FE V8 VVT that produces 276 horse power.

The vehicle provides either the 5-speed automatic or the 6-speed automatic transmissions. The wheel base for the regular cab is 3220 mm. The length, width and height of the vehicle are 3700 mm, 2029 mm and the 1935 mm respectively.

As far as the awards won by the Toyota Tundra are concerned, the Toyota vehicle Tundra in the years 2000 and 2008 was the Truck of the Year as per the Motor Trend, won the award of Tow vehicle of the Year award in the year 2007 from the trailer boats awards, won the award of truck of the Year award in the year 2008 from the Truckin magazine awards.

The vehicle Toyota Tundra stood in second place in April 2009 in the test results conducted by the Edmunds.com, finished third place in a test conducted by the Pickupstrucks.com in November, 2008, fifth place in the Motor trend test. In a test conducted by the Consumer Reports in August, 2007, the vehicle was acclaimed as the second best full size pickup truck, just next to the Chevy Avalanche.
