The weekend is over and that means one thing, it’s Mustang Girl Monday brought to you by Team Mustang Girls. This week we would like to introduce Angela Doubikin and her 2017 GT.
Angela’s Mustang story started with a classic. She tells us, “While my husband Jim was out to sea with the Navy, I drove the ’67 with my three boys. That was my daily for a long time.”
Angela also had a 2016 EcoBoost Mustang but that didn’t last long, saying, “I traded the Eco in for a GT. I couldn’t keep up with the big boys so I had to get a bigger engine. I loved the Eco but wanted to be able to compete in shows. Our ’67’s name is Christine, the 2016 EcoBoost was named was Mabel, and now the 2017 GT is Annabelle. Mabel was a very good car and won two best in shows. I can’t wait to see what Annabelle will do this year and forever. She’s already won a top 30 at her first show.”
Angela is a member of the Mustang And Ford Association of Virginia. She said, “We are constantly going to car show events and hanging out with some awesome people. We take part in tours and fundraisers that help other while having blast modifying my Mustang.”
