2021 New York Auto Show Is Definitely Happening

Initially, the 2020 show would have seen some big reveals take place, specifically the Acura TLX and Ford Bronco. Both reveals took place online instead, as has been the case for every new car debut over the past year or so.

This year’s show will be different than past events thanks to a 100,000 sq. ft. expansion of the Javits Center’s main showroom that includes five indoor electric vehicle test tracks where attendees can go for a short test drive. While the move from April to August at one point appeared to be a permanent one, we’ve been informed otherwise. According to the NY Auto Show press department, the 2022 show will return to April and will remain an Easter/spring show.
