Sadly, all we have for now is the suggestion that there will be a Shelby Bronco, so we don’t know if Shelby will look to extract more power from the current range-topping engine – a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 generating 310 horsepower – or if the the plans could involve a V8 of some sort. We don’t doubt that it would be possible to make a V8 work, perhaps even with a supercharger, but the issues of cost and demand will play a role. Although this is just a teaser, you can bet that Shelby is working on making a faster version of the Bronco. And you can bet it will be worth the wait, whatever engine it has.
