This tuned Bronco retains the company’s top-spec 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, but upgrades it up to make 405 hp and 503 lb-ft of torque. That’s good for a 0-60 mph sprint time of 4.9 seconds, which is faster than Ford claims (5.9 seconds) and way faster than what we’ve seen in video (8.1 seconds) on the message boards.
Ford’s engine gets massaged by Hennessey engineers who add new intake and exhaust systems, a special calibration for the ECU, and Hennessey’s off-road package that includes 35-inch off-road tires on 18-inch Hennessey wheels, front and rear VelociRaptor bumpers, retractable side steps and VelociRaptor branding. You also get an interior plaque denoting the special edition, as well as embroidered headrests.
