For the record, the stock 2.3-liter Bronco makes 300 hp and 325 lb-ft on premium gas, and the 2.7-liter generates 330 hp and 415 lb-ft on the same gas. Available for both two- and four-door variants, the exhaust suite from AWE features three modular catback configurations with multiple tip options. All have the capability to provide segment-leading clearance with the AWE BashGuard, a reinforced turn-down style axle-back outlet.
“We set out to create one exhaust for any terrain, and our NPD group knocked this out of the park. 3-inch T304L stainless steel, a much-needed wake-up in the sound department, and radical, trailside modularity,” noted AWE’s Jesse Kramer. The aftermarket exhaust system should be able to take anything rough terrain can throw at it, with the bash guard featuring a 0.125-inch thick reinforced ring on the outlet.
