Ford Broncos Dominate The Ultimate Off-Road Racing Event

To be clear, this is not the Bronco R Race prototype that took part in the 2019 and 2020 Baja 1000, though many lessons have been applied here from those experiences. Some modifications included a competition-spec high-performance off-road stability suspension system with Fox coil-over shocks with remote reservoirs and pneumatic bump stocks at all four wheels. Ford also bolted into place upgraded brakes, 35-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires mounted to forged beadlock wheels, beefier rear axle, modified front and rear modular steel bumpers with a winch, LED off-road lights, and a custom roll cage. And, for the first time ever, FIA off-road-certified Recaro race shells for the interior.

Like the Bronco R, the 4600 racers serve as testbeds for future Ford Performance vehicles and accessories.
