Ford Bronco Engines Failing With Under 10K Miles On The Clock

Thankfully, for the owners, this means the failure is still within Ford’s warranty period. Ford covers the Bronco with a basic three-year/36,000-mile warranty, a five-year corrosion warranty, a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, roadside assistance for five years, or 60,000 miles.

“We are aware of a select number of engines with this concern, and we are investigating. If any customers are experiencing issues, they will be covered under the vehicle’s 5-year, 60,000-mile powertrain warranty,” Ford said to The Drive.

It seems like Ford is aware of the problem and is likely investigating it. This will result in issuing either a recall or a technical service bulletin.
