2023 Ford Maverick Is Getting Back The Keyless Fob

This is obviously good news for ’23 model year Maverick customers, but it’s essential to understand that the situation can change quickly, hence Ford’s “precautionary measure.” The 2023 Ford Maverick began rolling off the Hermosillo, Mexico assembly line a few weeks ago though the online configurator went active in early October. One of the first things we noticed at the time was a price hike.

For example, the 2022 base XL model carried an MSRP of just below $20,000. For 2023, it’s increased to $22,195. Moving up the ladder, the ’23 XLT and Lariat models begin at $24,455 and $27,955, respectively. All three trims come standard with the 2.5-liter hybrid powertrain, front-wheel drive, and an EPA-estimated rating of 42 mpg in the city. That actually beats the Honda Civic with the 1.5-liter four-cylinder and automatic transmission combo.
