Both the Mustang Mach-E 1400 and the Cobra Jet 1400 were little more than prototypes designed to show what electric performance can do. We suspect that this new Super Cobra Jet 1800 will similarly be used as a promotional vehicle more than anything else.
Curiously, it appears that Ford has decided to base this new EV on the fifth-generation Mustang rather than the new S650, which has already spawned a drift-ready variant.
Presumably, Ford will reveal the reasoning behind this and more as we get closer to the reveal date.
