Gateway Bronco’s LUXE-GT Restomod Costs $400,000

Australia’s Premcar has unveiled its latest project at Monterey Car Week. In collaboration with Gateway Bronco, Premcar has developed a new chassis, suspension setup, and steering system for the Illinois-based company’s LUXE-GT. This Bronco restomod combines modern underpinnings with classic style and charm.

The Pegasus platform is a ladder-frame chassis with a 92.5-inch wheelbase and a 63.9-inch and 64.1-inch track at the front and rear, respectively. This is very similar to the original Bronco but with additional benefits.

For example, Premcar has engineered the chassis to accommodate the latest 460-horsepower 5.0-liter Coyote V8 from the Mustang, along with the 10-speed automatic transmission. The LUXE-GT also features a two-stage shift-on-the-fly all-wheel drive system. The company has also previewed all-electric models.

The Pegasus platform is impressively equipped with essential safety features, such as anti-lock brakes, traction control, and electronic stability control.
