Manhart’s Ford Bronco Is A 415-HP Braptor Rival

Manhart Performance isn’t afraid of pushing the envelope. Whether that means restomodding classic icons or butchering ultra-rare sports cars, the German tuner is happy to put its unique touch on almost anything. That now extends to the Ford Bronco, an off-roader that’s not exactly subtle or reserved. It’s perfect for Manhart, then.

To start with, Manhart has beefed up the 2.7-liter V6 engine. The stock intercooler has made way for one from Ford Racing, while the cold air intakes have been upgraded with components from aFe. The stock exhaust system makes way for custom stainless steel downpipes with 400-cell catalysts, while the EcoBoost motor benefits from MKtronik ECU software tuning. The result is 415 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque.

While more power is always lovely, Manhart says the decision to upgrade various components was taken for a logical reason. With an extensive customer base in the Middle East, these Bronco BC 400s need to be reliable in hot temperatures, primarily when they’re being worked hard in the dunes.
