Starting at $25,730 ($26,845 with destination), the 2024 Nissan Altima is only a bit more expensive than the K5, but it has more trim levels (three) available under $30,000. The base S, SV in FWD and AWD, and the sporty SR trims all fall below the price cap, even factoring destination. These trims all come with a four-cylinder engine producing 182 hp, going out through a CVT. The SR VC-Turbo model with 248 hp is well above the $30,000 mark, so it cannot be included here.
Following its refresh for the 2023 model year, the Altima ditches its rental car image to become a pretty handsome-looking sedan, especially in SR guise. Plenty of standard features, upgraded technology, and super comfortable Zero Gravity seats make the Altima a compelling option at a great price.
