Visually, the compact pickup truck has prominent wide fenders, side sills, and angular bumpers with recovery hooks. Aside from this, the concept also has a roof rack that holds a full-size spare and auxiliary lights, while the bed has room for two more wheels, hinting at its rally-ready inspiration.
Unlike the front, the rear of the Niagara has a traditional logo placed between its full-length LED taillights, an integrated spoiler, and what appears to be a bed bar. However, like the front, it also has a bumper that appears to be metallic.
With a new deal inked with Nissan, is there a chance for this Renault compact truck to have a Nissan badge and ultimately battle the hot-selling Maverick in the US? That’s something we can only charge to conjecture right now, but given that the competition is heating up, with Toyota possibly joining the fray, we wouldn’t rule it out.
