2023 Formula 1 Season: Final Results And Championship Standings

This weekend saw the final race of the 2023 F1 season occur in Abu Dhabi. While the race itself had a few bright moments, it was ultimately pretty dull (especially compared to the 2021 season finale), with Verstappen securing yet another victory, Charles Leclerc finishing second, and George Russell in third after a five-second penalty was given to Sergio Perez for pulling a Ford Mustang at a Cars and Coffee and plowing right into Lando Norris (who finished fifth).

The rest of the top 10 comprised Oscar Piastri (sixth), Fernando Alonso (seventh), Yuki Tsunoda (eighth), Lewis Hamilton (ninth), and Lance Stroll (tenth).

Many of those positions were vital in the overall standings. While Red Bull had wrapped up the Constructors’ Championship at the Suzuka leg of the season in Japan and both its drivers locked out the top two spots in the Drivers’ Championship, teams were battling it out for the final Constructors’ standings and the valuable prize money that comes along with them. Here’s where they all finished.
