1,100-HP SV Rover Road-Legal Hypertruck Revealed With 30 Inches Of Travel And Astronomical Price Tag

While the truck doesn’t look like it’s meant to coddle its occupants, the SV Rover actually comes with a relatively civilized cockpit. It has an Alcantara interior with billet aluminum accents, with Sparco racing seats available for its two occupants. There are two screens: a 12.3-inch gauge cluster and a 12.8-inch multimedia display at the center.

And yes, it has a climate control, push-button start, and power door locks and windows. It even has a cargo hold at the rear, though we wonder how that works with the blazing V8 also lodged behind the seats.

Scarbo Vintage has not provided its road-legal desert runner’s availability and official price tag, but Motor Authority reports that its starting price is $1.5 million. That’s quite hefty for an off-road toy, but at least you don’t need to tow it to SoCal to have fun in the dirt.
