The new film is priced at $5,995, which is in the same ballpark as a Tesla wrap. Ford’s film comes with the same three-year 36,000-mile warranty that the car itself gets. It’s unclear how extensive that coverage is, but the automaker says that the coating, made by PPG Industries, is designed to withstand harsh detergents, road salt, bird droppings, bug splatter, and asphalt residue.
