According to Ford Authority, order books for the 2023 Ford Maverick will open on August 16th, 2022. Production of the 2023 Ford Maverick will then start at the Ford Hermosillo Assembly Plant on October 24th, 2022, though this date could change depending on supply issues. There have been many delays as a result of this issue, with some manufacturing plants being forced to shut for extended periods.
As before, the 2023 Ford Maverick will be sold with a choice of two powertrains: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid producing up to 191 horsepower and 155 lb-ft of torque or a 2.0-liter EcoBoost rated at 250 hp and 277 lb-ft.
