1st Of 75 North American 1995 Ferrari F512 Ms Listed For Sale

The unmistakable silhouette of the Ferrari Testarossa is burned into the mind of just about every car enthusiast. Its wedge shape and dramatic details invoke instant nostalgia, even for those who weren’t around for the Testarossa’s heyday. Because of its panache, the Testarossa remains one of Ferrari’s most legendary creations, and despite the original Testarossa of the 80s being the most recognizable, its 90s successors are interesting and covetable supercars in their own right, with the final version of the Testarossa, the Ferrari F512 M, being one of the greatest.

Produced between 1994 and 1996, only 501 examples of the F512 M were made, and many of the typical trappings of the Testarossa were changed. While the dramatic side vent stayed, the pop-up headlights were replaced with fixed units, and the flat-12 engine’s power was increased to 434 horsepower, up from the original’s 385. The F512 M was the last Ferrari to be powered by the flat-12, whose roots traced back to the 512 BB (Berlinetta Boxer) of the 1970s.

Especially stateside, the F512 M is an incredibly rare Ferrari, with only 75 examples delivered to North America. If you’re looking for a rare retro gem to add to your Ferrari collection, this 1995 Ferrari F512 M for sale may be the one. It was the very first of those 75 cars, bearing the chassis number 1, and on top of that, it’s a Ferrari Classiche Certified car that already has to FCA Platinum awards to its name.

Shown at Cavallino Classic, it celebrates the near 30 years that have gone by since the end of the Testarossa era, and it’s the perfect Ferrari for a collector who wants an example with rich history and importance within the Ferrari pantheon.
