Watch What Happens When A Ford Bronco Loses To A Rockface

In a follow-up video, the owner of the upturned Bronco owner notes it wasn’t a lack of grip or driving skill that caused the unfortunate rollover. “[The] engine died. [There’s] not a whole lot you can do when you’re at the top of an obstacle… and the engine dies. You can’t steer it, you can’t stop it, you’ve just got to ride it.” Thankfully, the owner appears to have escaped the accident unscathed but, more surprisingly, the Bronco also fared rather well.

From afar, it would be difficult to even notice the damage. The driver says the rock sliders from Rock Slide Engineering took the brunt of the damage, “[helping] to support a lot of [the damage].” Several scrapes and dents are present, with the front wheel arch trim falling victim to the accident. The cloth top was also damaged, he adds. The Bronco’s minimal damage is impressive, but it’s rather worrying that the engine cut out for no apparent reason.
