Ford Bronco And F-Series Become Official Vehicles Of Disaster Relief

Team Rubicon is very well-known. The veteran-led organization was founded after the 2010 Haiti earthquake and has grown to have over 160,000 volunteers nationwide. Over the years, the operation has responded to more than 1,100 international and domestic crises.

“It starts with shared values – Team Rubicon and Ford both embrace the ethos of service, a vision of creating and strengthening communities – we’re committed to service. This Ford fleet and its innovative technology, in addition to the Ford Fund investment, exponentially increase our ability to reach those who have been impacted by disasters and crises,” said Art delaCruz, Team Rubicon CEO and retired US Naval officer.

The F-150 Hybrids have a 7.2 kW Pro Power Onboard system, while the all-electric Lightning models have a 9.6 kW version, and the F-350s receive the 2.0 kW Pro Power Onboard. All vehicles come equipped with five years of Ford Pro Fleet Management software, extended warranty coverage, and scheduled service maintenance.
