Ram, meanwhile, is considering bringing the new Rampage to America, so GM will be under pressure soon to join the segment.
Sadly, that means a Camaro Ute is incredibly unlikely. Not only is this sketch nearly 10 years old, but Chevrolet has already confirmed the Camaro is dead after 2024, meaning we won’t see variants of it. That’s not to say the Camaro will be relegated to the history books entirely, however, as the brand may bring it back as an electric muscle car in the future.
Perhaps, when it does, it might bring back the Chevy El Camino, or perhaps the El Camino moniker might lend itself to a compact unibody pickup truck.
